meet your coconspirator.

Hey! I’m Kirn.

I’m an anti-capitalist business + clarity coach, strategist + guide for creative women who are seeking more joy + alignment in their life + work.

I've spent over 8 years in the white male dominated corporate world, feeling like I was suffocating + completely out of place.

Like many daughters of Indian immigrants, I also spent a lot of time feeling disconnected from my culture, facing + challenging misogyny, patriarchy + familial expectations.

A stress-induced breakdown in mid-2017 changed the way I viewed my life and to begin on a journey towards finding myself, connecting to my core values, and living in deep alignment + joy.

Now, I support women in uncovering and living out their wildest dreams + desires in business + life.

my story.

I spent most of my life subscribing to a narrow, linear trajectory set for many daughters of immigrants: go to school, get a degree (in a "respectable" field like business, law, engineering, or medicine), get a job, climb the ladder, get married, start a family…

I checked a lot of those boxes off over the years, but watched the promise of happiness on this path fail to deliver each time.

Even as I pursued my finance and economics degree, the business world didn’t sit right with me: why were we so obsessed with profit and shareholders, while people and the planet were treated as afterthoughts? Why were we being taught to use fear, shame, and manipulation to market and sell?

Still, not wanting to disappoint my parents, I stuck it out — taking six years to finish a four-year degree — then spent over eight years in corporate, helping ridiculously wealthy, old white men get even richer.

On paper, I had everything: a solid job, a great salary, a new car, a nice apartment. But inside? I felt completely disconnected from myself, deeply unhappy, and profoundly unfulfilled.

Then in 2017, burnout caught up with me. I had a semi-public, stress-induced breakdown that cracked everything open (read more about that here).

That moment was a catalyst: when all the conditioning and belief systems I had clung to no longer felt true.

I spent the next several years in deep introspection, peeling back the layers of conditioning from family, society, and schooling. I started questioning: What do I actually believe? What have I simply been taught to accept as truth?

Through this unraveling, I began to redefine my values, learn to embody them, unlearn old patterns, and — like many eldest daughters of immigrants — navigate the complex work of healing, repairing (and sometimes releasing) relationships that no longer served me.

In September 2020, I got my Conscious Life Coaching Certification, flipped business strategy on its head, and began the work to serve women of colour in uncovering and living out their deepest dreams + desires in business + life, with an anti-oppressive, intersectional feminist lens.

My journey has led me to build a life + business in integrity that centers my joy, gives me permission to dream, and brings me freedom.

Now, I want to help you do the same.

my influence + approach.

I aim to work with an anti-oppressive lens that challenges the capitalist, patriarchal, white supremacist ways of working + doing that our minds + bodies have been rooted in thanks to the society and systems we live + work in.

We replace this BS with intuitive, embodied strategies that feel really good in our being.

By honouring the multiplicity + intersectionalities of our existence as women of colour, we aim to reimagine the way we live + work to serve our souls better.

My work is deeply influenced by Black + Indigenous feminist theory + teachings, including the words written + spoken by brilliant folks including bell hooks, Maya Angelou, Kimberlé Crenshaw, Tricia Hersey, Audre Lorde, Angela Davis, Rachel Ricketts, Mikki Kendall, Robin Wall Kimmerer and many others.

My approach is guidance, prompt + nudge-based — which means I'm not here to tell you what to do, or to follow a framework. Instead, I take a holistic approach through a brave, non-judgmental space to share thoughts, challenges, ideas, emotions + progress.

I offer sliding scale pricing to bring a community-based, accessible practice to my clients.

Our relationship is built on trust, empathy + support, allowing you to explore your true self + make empowered choices. My role is to bring you a new perspective, thought-process, + critical lens and to support you in aligning your life + work with your values.

you should probably also know…

I’m sarcastic AF and I’m also real AF — I call it like it is, and I’m not afraid to tell the truth.

I’m a sensitive, intuitive, introverted, work in progress.

I’m also able bodied, neurotypical, cisgender, and a light-skinned woman of colour living on Turtle Island, or Canada — I acknowledge that I work from a place of privilege (as most of us do in the western hemisphere), but it’s important for you to know where my privilege lies as you consider working with me!

challenge traditional ways of working + break all the rules.
